Lexi’s Legacy is a very special program that continues to give back even after Lexi has passed away. Her handler, Sami, helps provide gifts of stuffed animals for children at the school and library they volunteered at for many years. Every Monday, the staff at the school provide a student in need of a ‘reading buddy’ from Lexi. Likewise, the Madeira Library gets a stuffed animal every month to give away. The community recently installed a Lexi brick at the school and she has a stepping stone with her paw print in the garden as well.

Lexi gave much in her lifetime, and continues to give on even in her passing, and be remembered with love by the communities she provided healing and comfort to.
