Phoebe and I walked around on our first official unsupervised visit at OHSU. We visited a bunch of waiting rooms and had a great time. But when got to the last waiting room there was a family there in for a surprise. They were laying on the couches pushed together to make one, big, bed and you could hear sniffling. Phoebe jumped right on the couch and crawled lap to lap giving each one of them love and started burying herself in their family pile. One of the gentlemen, an older man, covered in tattoos, got on the floor with her and they were both on their backs rolling around for a good 2 minutes. It was so hard to leave this family, but they thanked Phoebe immensely for giving them relief and smiles even if only for a few minutes of their day.
