We got to visit a beautiful little 7 year old girl who was at the hospital getting chemo for her stage 3 cancer. The moment we walked in the girl’s room her eyes lit up. She excitedly exclaimed that she had always wanted to meet a pony. Ruby walked up to her bed and laid her head in the little girl’s lap. The little girl wrapped her arms around ruby’s head and just hugged her. When it was time for us to go Ruby did not want to leave the little girl’s room, she pulled me back to her bed and stood there for the little girl to hug her again. It was the sweetest thing I’ve seen Ruby do so far. To see the smile on the beautiful little girl’s face made the day perfect.
