“Greetings Pet Partner Friends,
It is with sweet sadness that I am announcing the formal retirement of Gracie Palmer. Gracie has completed her 12th year of devoted service as a friend and loving ambassador to young, the aging and all in between. Among her accomplishments to name a few; we have visited and educated professionals in both international, state and local conferences (such as Clinical Social Work Practice and the Governor’s Conference on the Treatment and Prevention of Child Abuse), university students in such classes as Death and Dying, and Social Work. We were a regular visitor to a clinical therapy group of trauma survivors, a rehabilitation hospital, and for 8 years a local Cancer Center. As well as many many more…We are also members of Prairieland Visiting Animal Association serving the greater area in Topeka, Kansas. It had been our great pleasure and honor to be a Pet Partner over these many years. We are proud of your organization and the “Gold Standard” of excellence you provide. We will continue to support your remarkable organization in the coming years. We believe in the mission and high standards Pet Partners deliver. I recently retired from teaching at Washburn University and we both are now enjoying new adventures on a beautiful farm in Missouri.
Blessings all and THANK YOU for the opportunity and honor to be a part of Pet Partners.”
