Learning Experience Manager

Pet Partners is seeking a talented individual to serve as our Learning Experience Manager. The person in this role will be a key member of the Therapy Animal Program team, responsible for Pet Partners’ global training portfolio. Engaging directly with volunteers, this position will focus on creating a learning experience that both supports and challenges learners.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for life cycle of all training materials and publications, including online courses, workshops/practicums, eBooks, webinars and video assets; interfaces with vendors as needed.
  • Ensures a consistent approach and voice to all training assets; maintains the curriculum style guide.
  • Oversees webinars for multiple audiences; coordinates with guest presenters and SMEs.
  • Identifies, with input from stakeholders, topics for future online course development.
  • Manages the online Resource Library ensuring materials are current and well organized/catalogued.
  • Leads an emerging quality assurance program to enhance consistency, growth and professionalism.
  • Oversees recruitment of volunteer leaders based on a geographic needs analysis; participates in the vetting of volunteer leader candidates as needed.
  • Coordinates practicum and regional meeting events, including management of all logistical details.
  • Responsible for tracking and analyzing metrics for course satisfaction and training outcomes.
  • Collects and digests feedback from participants for continual improvement to training materials.
  • Oversees and participates, when needed, in the review of incidents and complaints ensuring thorough documentation and consistent processes.
  • Performs work on weekends and evenings as needed to meet applicable deadlines.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education, Experience & Skills Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree and minimum of three years of project management related responsibility; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience managing staff and/or managing volunteers.
  • Experience in training, instructional design or technical writing.
  • Experience with and intermediate knowledge of a CRM such as Salesforce and LMS systems.
  • Intermediate knowledge and skills of PC operation and software including MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in change management desirable.
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design concepts and the life cycle of curriculum products.
  • Sound knowledge of project management techniques and tools.
  • Confidence in using technology and the ability and willingness to learn new systems through experience.

Position: Full-time, exempt: 37.5 hours/week (7.5 hours daily); office location is in Bellevue, WA (local applicants preferred).

Salary & Benefits: Salary DOE with full benefits package. Pet Partners does not pay for relocation expenses.
